&lt/div&gt&ltp&gtWong was a developer caught cheating Chinatown families out of more than $1 million more than a decade ago. Hoping for leniency at sentencing, he began providing information to the FBI in May 2014. A few months later, he secretly recorded an August 2014 meeting with Madigan and Solis. Wong’s actions set in motion a chain of events that led to Madigan’s indictment nearly eight years later. Still, in December 2022, a judge sentenced Wong&ltb&gt &lt/b&gtto &lta class=&quotLink&quot href=&quothttps://chicago.suntimes.com/2022/12/21/23521330/madigan-see-wong-developer-sentencing-prison-solis&quot target=&quot_blank&quot &gt16 months in prison&lt/a&gt. Wong has since served his sentence.&lt/p&gt
